Welcome to Footsteps with Jesus! By accessing or using our app and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the app.
1. Definitions
- Application: The “Footsteps with Jesus” app, owned and operated by Timeless Traveler, Inc., designed to track users’ physical steps while following a spiritual journey inspired by Jesus Christ’s life.
- Subscription: A paid service granting access to premium features, such as extended mileage tracking and exclusive milestones, for $2.99/month or $29.99/year.
- Content: All materials provided through the app, including text, graphics, images, and software, owned by Timeless Traveler, Inc.
- User: An individual accessing the Application and agreeing to these Terms.
2. Acknowledgment and Agreement
By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and any updates. Users under 18 must refrain from using the Application.
3. User Accounts
- Users must create accounts with accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
- Account credentials are personal and confidential; users are responsible for all activities under their accounts.
- Users are required to notify Timeless Traveler, Inc. immediately of any security breaches.
4. Free Trial, Subscription, and Billing Terms
- New users are eligible for a 30-day free trial, which grants full access to the app’s features.
- Users must sign up and provide payment through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to begin the trial.
- To avoid charges, users must cancel their subscription before the trial period ends.
- After the free trial period ends, users will automatically be billed based on their selected subscription plan ($2.99/month or $29.99/year).
- Subscription fees are charged to the payment method linked to the user’s account.
- Users may cancel their subscription at any time, but cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Refunds are subject to the policies of the App Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) where the subscription was purchased.
5. Intellectual Property
All Application content is the exclusive property of Timeless Traveler, Inc. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
6. Feedback and User Contributions
By submitting feedback, suggestions, or testimonials, users grant Timeless Traveler, Inc. a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and modify the content for marketing or operational purposes.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
- Use the Application for unlawful activities.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or disrupt Application functionality.
- Post or distribute harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
8. No Social Interactions
At this time, this app is designed as an individual journey tool. It does not include social elements such as friend tracking or community boards.
9. Promotions and Free Trials
Promotions or free trials may be offered periodically. Timeless Traveler, Inc. reserves the right to modify or terminate these at any time.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Application is governed by our Privacy Policy, outlining how data is collected, stored, and used.
11. Indemnity
o the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Timeless Traveler, Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your violation of these Terms, including but not limited to unauthorized use of the app or its content.
- Any claim or dispute arising from content you share or submit through the app, including screenshots or reflections related to milestones, that infringes on the rights of any third party or violates any applicable law.
- Your physical activities or health conditions resulting from your use of the app. You acknowledge and agree that your participation in any activities inspired by the app is voluntary and at your own discretion and risk.
- Any breach of third-party terms (e.g., App Store or payment platforms) caused by your actions while using the app.
This obligation will survive the termination of your account or cessation of your use of the app.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The Application is provided “as is” and “as available.” No guarantees are made regarding uninterrupted service, performance, or fitness for any purpose.
- To the maximum extent allowed by law, Timeless Traveler, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- U.S. Users: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, specifically California. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
- EU Users: Users retain consumer rights under their respective country laws.
15. Severability and Waiver
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms will continue in full force. Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver.
